Arrival and Private Transfer in Beijing

Tiananmen, Forbidden City and Temple of Heaven
Begin at Tiananmen Square, Beijing's central civic space, then enter the Forbidden City. Built from 1406 to 1420, the palace served 14 Ming and 10 Qing emperors; its gates, courtyards and throne halls reveal the formal architecture of imperial government. Pause for lunch at a Beijing restaurant and taste Peking duck. In the afternoon, visit the UNESCO-listed Temple of Heaven, where rulers once performed state rituals for a good harvest.

Great Wall, Summer Palace and Evening Transfer
Travel to a scenic mountain section of the Great Wall and walk along the fortified ridge with views across the surrounding terrain. After lunch, return towards Beijing for the UNESCO-listed Summer Palace. Explore its pavilions, bridges and graceful lakeside spaces arranged around Kunming Lake. In the evening, continue by private vehicle either to the airport or back to the hotel, according to your onward plan.
