About this trip
A compact first visit to Beijing begins with time to settle in before two full days of guided sightseeing. Enter the Forbidden City, the early-fifteenth-century palace of Ming and Qing emperors, then continue to the UNESCO-listed Temple of Heaven and a welcome dinner featuring Peking duck.
The next day moves from the composed gardens of the Summer Palace—Kunming Lake, halls, pavilions and covered walks—to a scenic mountain section of the Great Wall outside the city. Follow the fortifications across the ridges and pause for expansive views before returning to Beijing. Airport transfers frame the programme, while the arrival afternoon remains free for rest or an independently arranged city outing.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1
Arrival and Free Time in Beijing
Arrive at Beijing International Airport and join the transfer into the city; travellers on the same flight are met together. Hotel check-in is normally available after 2:00 pm, subject to room readiness. Use the remaining time to rest, eat nearby or walk independently. Universal Studios Beijing or another attraction can be visited on your own if timing permits, with transport and admission arranged separately.

Day 2
Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Peking Duck
Enter the Forbidden City, built from 1406 to 1420 and used by 14 Ming and 10 Qing emperors. Move along its ceremonial axis through gates, courtyards and throne halls, then continue to the UNESCO-listed Temple of Heaven. Its ritual buildings and spatial design reflect the state ceremonies that rulers performed for a good harvest. In the evening, gather for the welcome dinner featuring Beijing's signature Peking duck before returning to the hotel.

Day 3
Summer Palace and the Great Wall
Walk through the UNESCO-listed Summer Palace, where halls, pavilions, bridges and covered galleries are composed around Kunming Lake. Continue outside Beijing to a scenic mountain section of the Great Wall. Follow its fortified path as it rises and falls across the terrain, pausing for broad ridge views. A restaurant lunch near the Wall completes the excursion before the group returns to Beijing.

Day 4
Beijing Airport Departure
Keep the morning free according to your flight schedule. Check out, meet the driver at the appointed time and transfer to Beijing International Airport. The four-day programme concludes at the terminal before your onward flight.
